I am an Evolutionary Biologist and Botanist interested in biodiversity, plant systematics, biogeography, evolution of morphological traits, and plant-animal interactions. I am also interested in investigating diversity and social biases to identify and propose policies regarding minorities in science. Currently I am working on comparative methods to understand the evolution of the Neotropical liana lineage at Fortuna-Perez's lab at the São Paulo State University, Brazil and as vice-coordinator of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Brazilian Botanical Society (SBB).
